Free online scientific calculator with trig (sin, cos, tan), logarithms, powers, square roots, constants (π, e) and keyboard support. No download needed.

Type an expression using functions like sin, cos, log, ln, sqrt and constants pi and e. Results update live as you type — no equals button needed.

Type an expression using functions like sin, cos, log, ln and √ together with the constants π and e. The answer updates live as you type, so you can build up a long calculation and watch it resolve.

Trigonometry in degrees or radians

The calculator includes sin, cos and tan plus their inverses (asin, acos, atan). Switch between degrees and radians with the DEG/RAD toggle — the mode is shown on screen so you always know how angles are being read. Press SHIFT to reach the inverse functions printed above each key.

Logarithms, powers and roots

Work with natural logs (ln), base-10 logs (log), the exponential functions (eˣ and 10ˣ), square and cube roots (√ and ∛), and arbitrary powers with the caret, such as 2^10. Dedicated x² and x³ keys make common powers a single tap.

Constants and the last answer

Insert π and e directly as constants, and reuse your previous result with the Ans key to chain one calculation into the next without retyping it. Parentheses let you nest functions cleanly, for example sin(30) + √(16).

Clear, accurate results

Answers are shown to full precision and switch to scientific notation for very large or very small numbers, so you never lose significant digits. Tap any value on screen to edit it, paste a full expression from elsewhere, and copy the result with one tap. Everything runs privately in your browser with no sign-up.

How to use

  1. Type a mathematical expression, for example sin(45) or 2^10.
  2. Switch between DEG and RAD mode for trigonometric functions.
  3. Press SHIFT to access inverse functions (asin, acos, atan) and alternate operations.
  4. Use π and e as constants, and the Ans key to reuse your previous result.
  5. Tap any value on the display to edit it, or paste an expression from elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Which functions are supported?

sin, cos, tan and their inverses (asin, acos, atan), sqrt, cbrt, ln (natural log), log (base 10), exp, abs, round, floor and ceil. Use the caret (^) for arbitrary powers.

How do I raise to a power?

Use the caret key. For example, 2^10 gives 1024. Dedicated x² and x³ keys are also available for common powers.

Can I switch between degrees and radians?

Yes. Tap the DEG/RAD toggle button. The current angle mode is shown on the calculator display so you always know which is active.

Does this calculator work on mobile?

Yes. The calculator is fully responsive and designed for touch screens. Keys are sized for comfortable tapping on phones and tablets.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. All calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server, and no sign-up is required.
